Eugen Petrescu – guiding in the Danube Delta and Dobrogea

He was a teacher in the Delta for 26 years. His hobby – bird-watching. After the Revolution in 1989 he started to lead small groups in the Delta. In 1996 he became Danube Delta Conservation Officer for ROS(Romanian Ornithological Society). Since 1995 when IBIS BIRD WATCHING TOURS was founded by his son Daniel and Vadineanu Costica he leads tours in his holidays for the company. He is probably the best bird-watcher in Eastern Romania.

After finishing his studies in 1995 he founded IBIS TOURS, supported by his father (Petrescu Eugen) and his partner Vadineanu Costica. Born in the Delta he shared the same passion like his father – bird-watching. Before founding the company he lead Wildlife Holidays and Tours for different companies in the Delta. He speaks English, French, Italian and German.

Florin Palade - guiding in the Danube Delta, Dobrogea and Carpathians

 

Specialized in geomorphology, he graduated in 2003 the Faculty of Geography – German Language, Timisoara . His vast knowledge about Romanian relief and wildlife makes him a great guide. He has a great experience in hiking (especially Fagaras Mountains ) and he speaks very well German and English.

Laurentiu Petrencu - guiding in the Danube Delta, Dobrogea and Carpathians

 

Graduated the University of Biology in Iasi he is specialised in birds but his knowledge about wildlife is remarkable. He started guiding birdwatching tours for Ibis in 2008 and despite his young age he has made a name in the world of nature lovers. He speaks – English, Spanish and French.

He is the youngest guide at Ibis Tours but has a long experience guiding and birdwatching. He is studying biology at the University in Iasi. He speaks – English
